In a country like France, where tradition reigns supreme, even a suggestion of change or newness has often been met with skepticism. This is no longer the case, as I argue through my podcast. Think of it as a side dish to my book The New Paris,  picking up where the book left off.

In season 1, I was joined by co-host Alice Cavanagh, a fashion journalist and author of the latest Wallpaper Guide to Paris, and an assortment of other local experts, to take a closer look at the people, places and ideas that are changing the fabric of the storied French capital.

The next three seasons go deeper, with me and guest experts continuing the discussion and tackling some of the more timely (and timeless, for better or for worse) issues — immigration, discrimination, urban development, women’s rights, and more — that impact the people of Paris.
